The Assistant Swim Instructor course is your first step into aquatic leadership. Learn how to assist certified Swim Instructors in teaching swimming and water safety skills through the Lifesaving Society’s Swim for Life program. You’ll gain valuable communication, organization, and teaching experience under direct supervision.
Duration: Approximately 18 hours
Prerequisites: Minimum 14 years of age and Bronze Cross certification
Certification Validity: 2 years (subject to employer policy)
