Identity verification process (effective Jan 1, 2026)

Lifesaving Society identity verification applies to certain vocational certifications. To keep a consistent registration process, we verify identity for all registrations. You will be asked to present acceptable government-issued ID (original, photocopy, or digital) showing your legal name and date of birth. We verify it privately and do not keep copies.

I understand that I will be required to present valid government-issued ID (original, photocopy, or digital) showing my legal name and date of birth before the course starts.

I understand that during last-minute logistics or group coordination, I may be included on an email thread where other candidates and instructors can see my email address.

Reschedule / cancellation fee: I understand that any reschedule or cancellation will incur a $15 pool booking rescheduling/cancellation fee.

1:1 instruction format: I understand and accept that due to low enrolment or internal scheduling needs or internal business process, my session may be delivered 1-on-1 with a male instructor, and YRALT is not required to obtain my consent or notify me in advance of this format.

Late arrival policy: I understand that if I arrive late, I may be failed or removed from the course, regardless of traffic, delays, or any other reason.

For online courses, ID is checked privately before the course begins (e.g., a short 1:1 verification).
